Third Winner for Duporth

Tara Madgwick - Monday April 21
Promising young sire Duporth added a third winner to his tally at Randwick on Monday with Thelittleracketeer opening her career with a debut victory.

DuporthThe Peter Moody trained filly was easy in the market starting at $20, but defied the lack of interest from punters to forge clear under a good ride from Jimmy Cassidy to win the 1100 metre maiden by half a length.

A $90,000 Magic Millions purchase for her trainer from the draft of Twin Palms Stud, Thelittleracketeer is a half-sister to recent stakes-winner Office Bearer, who is also trained by Peter Moody.

She is the second winner from Street Em' Shelia (USA), a Street Cry daughter of South African Group I winner Super Sheila.

Thelitteracketeer is the third winner for Duporth joining Advertencia and Two Over One, his best performer so far the Group I placed colt Cornrow.

A Group I winning son of Red Ransom (USA), Duporth is currently second on the First Season Sires List by earnings and stands at Kitchwin Hills.
