Another Stakes Success for Angel of Mercy

Widely travelled Hussonet (USA) mare Angel of Mercy was dispatched to Brisbane by astute trainer Gerald Ryan for a stakes race at Eagle Farm on Saturday with happy results.

Already a stakes-winner in Sydney and Western Australia, Angel of Mercy won the Listed BRC Members Handicap over 1600 metres by a length.

Angel of Mercy was bred in South Australia by the Watson family's Mill Park and their long-time friends and clients Bob and Helen Dinham and sold through the Magic Millions draft of Mill Park for $180,000 in 2010.

She has proven a fine investments winning five races from 23 starts and earning $350,475in prizemoney.

Angel of Mercy is a valuable breeding prospect for the future as her dam Pieta is a half-sister to four-time Group I winner Divine Madonna.

Angel of Mercy continues a run of success for Mill Park graduates this month following on from earlier stakes wins for Gamblin' Guru and exciting two year-old Go Indy Go, who is due to run in the Group I ATC Champagne Stakes at Randwick next Saturday.
