Belle Couture resumes at Caulfield on Monday

Black Caviar's half-sister Belle Couture returns to competition at Caulfield on Monday when the three-year-old runs in the Ricky Thurgood 34th Anniversary Plate over 1200 metres.

Belle Couture finished runner-up over 1100 metres at Bendigo at her only other start on December 22 when ridden by Damien Oliver who will be aboard on Monday.

A strong performance to finish second to open class sprinter Rescue Mission in a recent 800-metre jumpout on the course proper at Flemington pleased trainer Danny O'Brien and the daughter of Redoute's Choice is arguably the most interesting runner at the Easter Monday meeting.

The nine-race programme commences at 11.40 on a surface currently rated Dead (5). The rail will be out nine metres.
