Wattle
Brae Stud resident stallion Raheeb was represented by the first winner of his
stallion career when She's Got Beauty scored by six-and-a-quarter lengths in a
2-year-old Maiden Handicap (800m) at Thangool.
A chestnut filly trained by Angela Stephens at Rockhampton, She's Got Beauty
was making her first racetrack appearance and made light work of the
assignment.
The seven-horse event saw her go to post the 2/1 second favourite before the
speedy juvenile proved to be a resounding winner in the hand time of 45.54
seconds.
She's Got Beauty is the first foal of the Danewin mare Etidane. Unplaced in
three starts, Etidane hails from the family of the ill-fated Queensland sire
Brave Warrior and triple Group 1 winner Shamekha.
Raheeb stood his first Wattle Brae Stud season in 2013 after commencing his
career on the interstate stallion roster of Patinack Farm. Besides She's Got
Beauty, his first runners also include the placegetters Balendi, Hot Tempo and
I'm Unfazed. Notably, three of this quartet are bred on a Royal Academy-Danzig
cross.
