Juvenile Trial Watch – Warwick Farm

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday January 2

Five heats for juveniles at Warwick Farm on Tuesday morning and four of the winners have siblings in upcoming sales and two of them are by first season sires Yes Yes Yes and D’Argento.

Goulburn trainer Danielle Seib doesn’t trial many horses in town, but she did bring D’argento gelding Due Calzini to Sydney and he duly saluted with Tyler Schiller in the saddle. He sat outside the leader and was strong to line, but hard not to be impressed with runner-up Switzerland, the $1.5million Snitzel colt trained by Chris Waller, another Shinzo? Bowness Stud are sending the full brother to Due Calzini to Inglis Classic as Lot 771.

Yes Yes Yes had the winner of this heat with the Marc Conners trained filly Shezasiren leading all the way to win and she has a half-brother by King’s Legacy going to Magic Millions for Parsons Creek as Lot 198.

A homebred for Belinda Bateman, I Am Invincible filly Twirling was totally clueless at her first trial last September when finishing last, but was a different filly this time around. Trained by Peter and Paul Snowden she was competitive all the way and was made to find the line to take the win. Newgate will offer her half-sister by King’s Legacy at Magic Millions as Lot 319.

First trial and it’s a win for the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott trained Russian Revolution colt Russian Roulette, whose half-sister by Justify (USA) goes to Inglis Classic for The Chase as Lot 117.

The Peter and Paul Snowden trained Capitalist colt Holmes a Court had the advantage of the fence and used it to win his second trial and first this prep. Nice run Whiskey for third at his first look and he’s an interesting one being the $530,000 record priced colt by Better Than Ready from Magic Millions last year and there is a full brother to him in this year’s sale.

See all the trial results with Sale Mail at Breednet and at Racing NSW with video.
