Christmas Yearling Sale Shaping Up Nicely!

Media Release - Monday December 12

It's just 3 days until Bloodstockauction.com's final online auction of 2022. It's a special auction to end the year because it will be headlined by their Christmas Yearling Sale.

It is the first time that a dedicated Yearling Sale has been hosted prior to Christmas, but the early timing makes perfect sense to many in the industry.

The sale has been well received and supported, with many owners and breeders leaping on the opportunity to move on yearlings that are either not committed to live sales in 2023 or are simply better suited to the online sales format.  There is no longer a need to retain stock well into 2023 with the hope of selling them come May or June.

Anthony Gafa, the Director of Bloodstockauction.com is understandably excited about the sale "It has been extremely well received by everyone that we have spoken with. It makes sense to move stock on as early as possible, especially with some economic uncertainty on the horizon.  The sale allows breeders to then focus on the live sales in the first quarter of 2023".

The Christmas Yearling Sale is shaping up nicely, with more than 50 yearlings already entered sired by the likes of Frosted, Merchant Navy, Yes Yes Yes, Cosmic Force, Saxon Warrior and Vino Rosso to name a few.

More entries are coming in, so if you have a yearling that you need to sell, it's not too late!

Bloodstockauction.com is accepting entries right up until 6:00pm AEDT on Thursday night, so why not contact the office today on 1300 849 349.

If you are looking to buy, there will be plenty of quality yearlings on offer.  What better present can you get this Christmas than a future race winner!

The auction catalogue goes live at 7:00pm AEDT this Thursday 15 December with the auction final countdown commencing at 7:00pm AEDT on Tuesday 20 December 2022.
