Gelding might be the making of talented Sebring three year-old Exacting, who carried the Triple Crown colours to a commanding five length win at Pakenham on Tuesday.

Exacting as a yearlingNow with Mick Price after being previously trained by Peter Moody, Exacting was sent out favourite for the 1400 metre maiden following unlucky placings at his first two runs back from a spell.

With fitness and better luck on his side, Exacting responded with an explosive win that will have thrilled his large team of owners.

A $60,000 Inglis Premier purchase for Triple Crown Syndications from the Three Bridges Thoroughbreds draft, Exacting is a half-brother to Group III placed Nadeem Lass from Danrego, a half-sister to Champion 3YO and five-time Group I winner Eremein.

He is the third winner in the past few days for Triple Crown, who enjoyed Saturday success with Redzel and Bukzel.
