Luskin Park Celebrate Another Stakes Success for Dublin Lass

Tara Madgwick - Saturday November 28

Dublin Lass Previously prepared by John O'Shea, Dublin Lass has continued to improve for Peter and Paul Snowden and looks set for her best campaign yet judging by this stylish win.

Sent out favourite, she was well ridden by Kerrin McEvoy to surge late and win the 1100 metre sprint by half a length.

"She's in good form and when mares are in good form they're hard to beat," said Peter Snowden.

"There are races for her now every two weeks for the next six weeks.

"I won't be surprised if she wins another couple of races."

Snowden will look at the Listed Razor Sharp (1200m) at Randwick on December 12, then the Listed Canterbury Classic (1200m) at Randwick on Boxing Day and the Listed Takeover Target (1200m) at Gosford on Friday January 8, so it could be a very fruitful summer for Dublin Lass!.

Dublin Lass as a yearlingDublin Lass was a $250,000 Inglis Easter purchase from the draft of Luskin Park and runs for a syndicate that includes her breeders Paul Whelan and Wilf Mula.

Dublin Lass is the first foal of lightly raced Elusive Quality (USA) mare Fashion Police, a grand-daughter of Group II winner Fine Recipe from the family of Group I VATC Blue Diamond winner Midnight Fever and Group I VRC Australian Guineas winner Rock Classic, who was also bred and sold by Luskin Park.
