Seventh Stakes-Winner for Uncle Mo

Sire sensation Uncle Mo (USA) added a seventh stakes-winner to his tally over the weekend when exciting filly Lost Raven scored a dominant win in the $100,000 Smart Halo Stakes at Laurel.

A homebred for Repole Stable prepared by Todd Pletcher, Lost Raven was a winner on debut at Belmont on October 4 and stepped it up a notch when taking this six furlong contest by a comfortable three lengths.

Uncle MoLost Raven is the first winner for Elusive Raven, a half-sister by Elusive Quality to Grade III winners Misconnect and Winslow Homer.

Uncle Mo also added two more winners over the weekend to an ever growing list of winners with Little Mo winning on turf at Gulfstream and Mo d'amour scoring at Belmont.

With 24 Northern Hemisphere winners on the board, Uncle Mo has had a phenomenally successful first year as a sire and will finish as Champion US First Crop Sire and Champion Sire of Two Year Olds.

He has his first SH bred two year-olds running here now and is in Australia at present at Coolmore finishing his fourth season here at a fee of $16,500.

His US fee for 2016 is $75,000!
