Stud's exciting young sire Star Witness has started the season with all guns
blazing posting his fourth winner since August 1 at Scone on Friday with an easy
victory for Enjoyable.
Trained at Muswellbrook by Jan Bowen, Enjoyable resumed from a spell to race
clear and win the 1000 metre maiden by a length and a half.
Passed in at Inglis Easter Session II, Enjoyable is raced by his trainer and is
the fourth winner from stakes-winning Danehill Dancer (IRE) mare Magsaya.
The Champion Two and Three Year Old Colt, Star Witness leads the Australian
Second Season Sires List by earnings and winners with two stakes performers
already on the board this season in stakes-winner Well Sprung and Group II
placed Kimberley Star.
He has an impressive eight stakes horses from his first crop of foals that are
now three year-olds and looks poised for further success this season.
Standing at a fee of $22,000 this spring, Star Witness has covered over 660
mares in his first four seasons so has great numbers of quality youngsters
coming through to build on his formidable early success.
