Widden
Stud's young Redoute's Choice sire Tickets added a smart winner to his tally in
New Zealand on Monday with Mr Conductor scoring at Awapuni.
Prepared by Johno Benner, Mr Conductor improved at his second start when
resuming from a spell to win the 1100 metre maiden on a heavy track by half a
length.
Mr Conductor was a very successful pinhook, bought out of the Inglis Australian
Select Weanling Sale from the Lomar Park draft for just $10,000 by renowned
judge Paul Willetts and then re-offered at the NZB Select Yearling Sale by
Ainsley Downs Stud fetching $50,000.
Mr Conductor is the ninth winner from stakes-winning proven producer Misty Dawn,
a sister to stakes-winner Easy Landing.
He is the second winner for Tickets, who stands this season at a fee of $6,600.
