Metro Winner for Onemorenomore

Tara Madgwick - Friday October 10

Vinery resident Onemorenomore sired his latest city winner this week when Onemorezeta was successful at Warwick Farm on Wednesday.

OnemorenomoreThe Kris Lees-trained filly has won at both starts this season after an all-the-way victory at Muswellbrook on September 21.

Onemorezeta (3f Onemorenomore - Little Zeta by Commands) took the step-up to city company in her stride with a sharp turn of foot in the Time To Shop At TAB Hcp (1000m).

"That was impressive - she showed natural gate speed and lengthened nicely in the straight," Lees said. "There's still a lot of room for improvement. She wanted to star gaze and drifted out getting to the line.

"She has raw ability but still has a bit to go mentally. Come the autumn, she will be a nice filly."

Onemorezeta is related to Listed Randwick winner More Than Great and is a homebred for Bob Hannan who has been racing winners with the Lees family since the 1970s.

More Than Great is a son of Vinery sire More Than Ready from a mare by champion sprinter Luskin Star who was trained by Kris' father Max Lees.

Onemorenomore sired Tonto to a first-up victory at Belmont on Saturday and he's heading for the G2 WA Guineas in November.

Trainer Mick Price also prepared Onemorenomore filly Explosive One to a first-up victory at Kilmore last week. She is owned in partnership by Vinery and won like she's bound for town this campaign.
