Atlante - Trish DunnellThere have been a number of star racetrack performers last season with 16 stakes races won by graduates of the Ready to Run Sale.

Flying the flag for the Ready to Run Sale were Group 1 winners Albany Reunion (Fastnet Rock), Atlante (Fastnet Rock), Glorious Days (Hussonet) and Nashville (NZ) (Darci Brahma).

Overcoming a tough run to win the Group 1 Easter Handicap was the lightly raced Albany Reunion . The Nigel Tiley trained galloper has Group 1 Australian targets on his agenda this spring.

Another horse with Group 1 targets in Australia this spring is Group 1 New Zealand 2000 Guineas winner Atlante . Another son of Fastnet Rock, Atlante won his Group 1 race less than a year after he was sold at the Ready to Run Sale. He has been transferred to Team Hawkes in Australia and is already a stakes winner at Moonee Valley this season.

Internationally, Glorious Days shot to victory in the Group 1 Hong Kong Mile, becoming the fourth consecutive Karaka graduate to win the race. After finishing second the year before, Glorious Days produced an outstanding effort to win the race fresh up in December of 2013.

Claiming back-to-back victories in the Group 1 Haunui Farm Classic was bargain $40,000 purchase Nashville . The son of Darci Brahma can lay claim to beating some of New Zealand's best gallopers such as Ocean Park (NZ) (Thorn Park), Veyron (NZ) (Thorn Park), Final Touch (NZ) (Kashani), Xanadu (NZ) (Elusive City) and Viadana (NZ) (Towkay).

Other stakes winners last season include Savvy Nature (NZ) (Savabeel), Military Move (NZ) (Volksraad), Elusive Catch (NZ) (Elusive City), Midnite Promise (NZ) (Librettist), Super Ninetyseven Show a Heart) and El Padrino (NZ) (Mr Nancho).

New Zealand Bloodstock's Ready to Run Sale will be held on 19 & 20 November 2014 with selling starting at 11am each day.
