Missing off the list is exciting young sire Starspangledbanner, who has impressed greatly with his first Northern Hemisphere runners that have produced six winners from 14 starters headed by Group II winners The Wow Signal and Anthem Alexandra.

With a foal crop numbering just 31, he doesn't have the numbers to win, but with 17 of those nominated for the Golden Slipper he may yet make an impact here, particularly on the leading first season sires by earnings.

WA based shuttler War Chant (USA) is another that falls short of the 70 foal cut off for the list above, but with 59 foals, many of whom sold extremely well at the Perth Magic Millions earlier this year, he might rack up the winners in the West.
