Sebring
added an 11th two year-old winner this season to his tally when
Coram resumed from a spell to win as he pleased at Geelong on Friday.
Prepared by Tory Corstens, Coram was sent out hot favourite and ran accordingly
when bolting away to beat older rivals and win the 1200 metre maiden by six
lengths.
Gelded after finishing out of the placings in two stakes events back in
February, Coram is obviously better for the break and now able to deliver on
his potential.
An $80,000 Inglis Premier purchase from the Kia-Ora Stud draft for Malua
Bloodstock/ Rosemont Stud, Coram is the fifth winner for French stakes-winner
Hancora (Fr), who is due to foal to Casino Prince this spring.
Golden Slipper winner Sebring has had a benchmark season and will finish as Leading
Second Season Sire by earnings.
